In this post, we're going to talk about protein and where to get your protein from. If you're eating a plant based diet, I'm going to give you my three favorite complete proteins that are all whole foods and all vegan.
You might be somebody who struggles with their gut health or you want to improve your overall health and you heard that you need more protein. Or you think you need to eat animal products so you can really get all complete proteins.
We're going to bust this myth today and I'm going to give you three of my favorite complete protein so you can start healing without needing to use any animal products if you don't want to. And I show you how you can include those three proteins into your daily life. All of these three sources come with recipe ideas that I'm personally using and that I'm giving out to clients, so stay tuned for that.

Now let's get started with number one, my favorite healing food and complete protein is Spirulina. This superpower algae has 60% (dry weight) protein. Spirulina is a complete source of protein and that's not everything. This high quality protein is easy to digestible because it comes from a cyanobacteria or an algae. It's a clump of cyanobacteria and this seaweed contains all nine amino acids in a bioactive form.
