OMG! What a wonderful afternoon treat!
Homemade almond milk with cinnamon*, ripe banana slices and the best fruit bread I've ever made!
100% vegan, gluten-free, sugar-free, low-fat and bursting with nutritiousness!
Recipe for the fruit bread
Ingredients:
1 cup brown rice flour
1 cup oat flour
1/4 buckwheat grains (roast them for 2 min in a pan before adding)
1 cup almond milk (or any other plant milk)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup raisins
5 dates (chopped)
1 ripe, mashed banana
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp warm coconut oil (optional)
Directions:
Preheat oven for 220°C. Mix all ingredients in a bowl and fill the content into a baking form. And bake in the over for about 30-50 min (use a knife to test if the dough is done).
PS * I usually don't drink and eat at the same time! If you are struggling with your digestion, I recommend drinking the almond milk either 30 min before or after the treat!
